I'm the founder of Jade and May, and like many good ideas, it started with wanting something I couldn't quite find.
I was searching for sleepwear that felt genuinely comfortable. Natural fibres that breathed, relaxed shapes that weren't restrictive, and pieces that looked just as good enjoying a slow morning as they did at bedtime.
That idea has slowly grown into something much bigger.
Today, Jade and May is home to our own range of ethically made sleepwear and loungewear, alongside a thoughtfully curated collection of homewares, gifts and independent brands from around the world. Everything we create or bring into the store is chosen with the same philosophy: quality over quantity, natural materials, thoughtful design and makers who care about how things are made.
Our own collection is designed here in Geelong and produced in small batches with independent makers we've worked closely with since 2019. Many are family-run or female-owned businesses, and every piece is made with longevity in mind rather than chasing trends.
Whether it's a linen pyjama set, a handmade Moroccan slipper or a beautiful object for your home, my hope is that it becomes something you use often, keep for years and genuinely enjoy living with.
