FAQs
Yes. Linen is naturally breathable, moisture wicking and temperature regulating, helping many people stay cooler and more comfortable throughout the night. It also absorbs moisture without feeling damp, making it an excellent choice for warm sleepers.
Linen allows air to circulate more freely than many fabrics, helping your body regulate its temperature. While no fabric can stop you feeling hot on very warm nights, linen is widely loved for its ability to stay cool, fresh and comfortable.
Absolutely. Linen is often associated with summer, but its natural temperature regulating properties make it comfortable across the seasons. It helps release excess heat in warmer weather while remaining comfortable during cooler months when layered with a robe or knit
Many women find linen especially helpful during perimenopause and menopause when night sweats and temperature fluctuations are common. Because linen is highly breathable and moisture wicking, it helps draw moisture away from the skin and allows heat to escape more easily. While it won’t stop hot flushes, it can make them feel more manageable by helping you stay drier and more comfortable through the night
Many people with sensitive or easily irritated skin find linen a gentle and comfortable choice. Because linen is a natural fibre that is highly breathable, it helps reduce heat and moisture build-up against the skin, which can sometimes contribute to irritation. It also doesn’t cling to the body in the same way synthetic fabrics can, allowing skin to breathe more freely overnight
While linen is not a medical treatment, it is often recommended by people with eczema or other skin sensitivities because of its breathable, non-restrictive nature. By helping to keep the skin cooler and reducing trapped moisture, linen sleepwear may help create a more comfortable sleep environment for those prone to flare-ups. If you have a skin condition, it’s always best to choose what feels most comfortable for your individual needs
It does. One of linen's best qualities is that it softens with every wash while maintaining its durability. Many people find their favourite linen garments become even more comfortable over time.
Our linen is certified European Flax® and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. These certifications provide assurance about the traceability of the flax and confirm the fabric has been tested for harmful substances. We also use AZO-free dyes.
We choose not to use AZO dyes because they can release harmful compounds during production and processing, and may pose risks to both the environment and human health. Instead, we use AZO-free dyes that are considered safer and more responsible, helping us create sleepwear that is gentler on your skin and better for the people involved in making it
Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold or lukewarm water using a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and tumble drying where possible. Line drying helps extend the life of your linen, and with each wash the fabric becomes softer and more relaxed.
