Japanese home cooking is simple - in technique but not in flavour. 

Japanese Food Made Easy includes all of your favourite Japanese foods that you eat when out and about such as ramen, gyoza, teriyaki and tonkatsu.. but it will also show you how to create simple Japanese dishes that are generally eaten at home, such as grilled peppers with bonito flakes, kakiage fritters and homemade fried tofu - the perfect quick and easy Tuesday night dinners after a big day at work, or in-between the swimming lessons and basketball training. 

And for those with a few extra minutes on your hands, this cookbook will show you how to make your own teriyaki sauce, tonkatsu sauce, miso dressing and shichimi togarashi (seven chilli mix) - healthier alternatives to store-bought and will bring instant flavour to the simplest dish.

Aya Nishimura is a Japanese-born Food Stylist/Home Economist. She is a fully qualified chef and has been working for top London restaurants and catering companies for many years

Changed your mind, or the size or the style isn't right for you? 

We get it.  Sometimes online shopping just doesn't work out as well as we'd like it to!  Email us at hello@jadeandmay.com.au within 30 days of receiving your full priced item and we will happily allow you to return your item for a refund, exchange for a store credit for the price you paid for the item or exchange for a different item in-store.  All items must be in original packaging, unused, unworn and in a re-saleable condition. 

No refund on sale items but if the item is still available for sale on our website we are happy to exchange or offer a Gift Voucher upon receipt of unworn sale items on an ad-hoc basis, so please email us at hello@jadeandmay.com.au with your request
