Don’t let the “mini” fool you - the Wahad Moroccan Pendant Light in Metallic Gold is a scene-stealer. Handmade with shimmering detail, this crocheted pendant light brings golden warmth and artisan character to any space - from a cosy reading corner to a striking dining setup
Designed and handcrafted by Hamimi’s talented team of women artisans in a small village just outside Marrakech, each pendant is crocheted by hand using traditional Moroccan techniques passed down through generations. The unique silhouettes take their cues from everyday Moroccan life - think tagines, baskets, and pottery - brought to life in lustrous metallic thread.
Whether styled solo or clustered with other pendants in contrasting colours and shapes, this light adds texture, story and soul to your space
Product Details:Size: Approx. 33cm high x 22cm diameter (13" x 9")
(As each pendant is handmade, slight variations may occur - and we love that!)
Materials: Silky viscose ‘kitan’ thread - traditionally used to embellish Moroccan kaftans - crocheted over handcrafted brass rings
Light Fitting: Lampshade only - standard electrical fitting and cord set not included

Bulb Recommendation: Max 11W Warm White LED (clear or pearl finish recommended)

Electrical Light Fittings: Our Malika Crochet Lights are lampshade only. The electrical light fittings and cable will need to be purchased separately.
Light Bulb: Max 11W Warm White LED (Clear or Pearl). Light bulbs are not included. You may wish to experiment with the strength of the bulb to achieve your desired brightness and ambience in the space.
You can also use pearl or clear bulbs to create different lighting effects - a pearl bulb will contain the light within the pendant to create a warm glow whereas a clear bulb cast light out through the crochet weave to create patterned shadows on the surrounding ceiling and close walls.
Choosing between a warm or cool white bulb will also affect the ambience you create - we typically use a warm white bulb.
Installation: To be installed by a qualified electrician. Simple installation instructions are included. If in the Geelong region we can arrange installation.
Packaging: Each pendant is flat-packed for safe and economical shipping.
Cleaning & Care: Clean regularly with a feather duster, lint roller and/or vacuum with a furniture nozzle attachment. Can be wiped clean with a lightly dampened cloth.
