      Monochromic Ceramics from France

Founded in 2013 by designer Karine Lanny, Monochromic is a French ceramic studio that blurs the line between art and craftsmanship. Based between Marseille and Vallauris, the brand reinterprets familiar symbols - cicadas from Provence, graceful swallows, and timeless nativity scenes - through a modern lens of purified forms, subtle humour, and poetic design.

Each piece begins as a hand-sculpted artwork by Karine herself. From these original sculptures, molds are crafted and used to reproduce each design in small, artisanal series. Every step- from casting and trimming to hand-finishing and colouring, is carried out by passionate craftspeople using traditional ceramic techniques and eco-responsible paints made in the South of France.

Since becoming a self-manufacturing studio in 2018, Monochromic has continued to celebrate the living heritage of French craftsmanship. The result is a collection that feels both grounded and avant-garde: ceramics that honour local know-how while embracing contemporary artistic expression.

With their refined lines, muted tones, and sculptural charm, these French ceramics bring quiet poetry to modern spaces - each one a small symbol of creativity, culture, and craftsmanship
