Earth is kind of a big deal. It’s our one and only home (unless Elon Musk fast-tracks that Mars colony), and Earth Day is the perfect annual reminder to show it some serious love.
So… what exactly is Earth Day?
Earth Day happens every year on April 22nd – it’s a global event that started way back in 1970 when bell-bottoms were in, and people started waking up to the fact that pollution wasn’t exactly a vibe. Fast forward to today, and Earth Day has evolved into a worldwide movement involving over a billion people in more than 190 countries. That’s a whole lot of humans planting trees, cleaning up coastlines, and giving nature a little high-five.
Why is Earth Day important?
Here’s the short and sweet of it: Our planet is under pressure. Climate change, plastic pollution, deforestation – the list is long and not-so-pretty. Earth Day shines a spotlight on all the ways we can make a difference, both big and small. It’s like a global eco-check-in – a reminder that our daily choices matter. We’re proudly ethically made, and that’s not just lip service. We partner with makers who treat their workers well and pay fair wages. Happy makers = happy garments = happy you.
✨ Low-Waste, Thoughtful Production
No fast fashion over here. We produce in small batches to avoid waste and overstock. Each piece is created with purpose and care – not whipped up by the thousands to sit unloved in a warehouse. All offcuts are used to create your next samples or smaller products that can be used
✨ Plastic-Free Packaging
Our packaging is compostable, and completely plastic-free (unless we are reusing plastic packaging we have received either in the warehouse or in our homes!). It’s what’s on the inside and the outside that counts, right?
