Every colourful jute bag is crafted from 100% sustainable natural jute, a fibre that grows abundantly in Bangladesh with minimal environmental impact. Often called the “golden fibre,” jute requires no irrigation, absorbs carbon dioxide as it grows and offers incredible strength as a raw material
The macramé jute bags are handwoven by women living in remote rural villages in southern Bangladesh. These skilled artisans create each piece from their homes while caring for their families and tending their land. Their work is paid for directly, offering financial independence and meaningful support. Email us at hello@jadeandmay.com.au within 30 days of receiving your full priced item and we will happily allow you to return your item for a refund, exchange for a store credit or a different item in-store. All items must be in original packaging, unused, unworn and in a re-saleable condition.
No refund on sale items but if the item is still available for sale on our website we are happy to exchange upon receipt of unworn sale items on an ad-hoc basis, email us at hello@jadeandmay.com.au
A faulty or broken item?
Please email us at hello@jadeandmay.com.au within 30 days of the order date and we can arrange a full refund, replacement or exchange
